ITECS plans, builds and delivers the Eos environment and server infrastructure that most users in the College of Engineering rely on daily. We support student-owned laptops and install and provision labs and desktop computers. We deliver ~60 engineering software applications to classes via lab and download. We also run a robust web environment for hosting and developing web sites and applications.
ITECS provides IT services and support to students, faculty and staff in the College of Engineering. ITECS began as Engineering Computer Operations (ECO) in 1989 but was renamed as Information Technology and Engineering Computer Services (ITECS) in 1995. In the course of its history, our staff has worked to meet the growing demand for computing innovation in engineering education.
