Engineering software is selected by faculty for use in the classes they teach.  ITECS installs this software in labs and also makes applications  available for download to individually owned computers.  Other software is installed in the Virtual Computing Lab for use via remote access.

The software manager is responsible for purchasing and licensing the engineering applications used in the Eos labs, plus applications used on the administrative desktop. The ITECS systems staff manages the installation, distribution and upgrades of application software.
