ITECS systems programmers and analysts are responsible for building the college’s IT infrastructure, including identity management, authentication, security, remote access, file storage and backup, web/database services and server virtualization, networking and more.

ITECS regularly consults with department systems and web administrators to develop college-wide IT solutions. ITECS also works with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) in the research, design, implementation, and maintenance of shared state-of-the-art information technology systems at scale for NC State University.
