Setting up a new computer ITECS sets up new computers for all faculty and staff within the Engineering college.  The network of printers and other University resources are set up to interact with every desktop and laptop computer, each of which requires compatible configuration, default applications, and more.

Therefore, when you receive a new computer, send email to eoshelp@ncsu.edu requesting setup.  We will work with you to determine exactly how to set up your computer for optimal integration and performance.

Troubleshooting and resolving computer problems Everyone encounters computer problems at one time or another.  If your computer appears to have problems ranging from failed print jobs to slow computer response time, please send email to eoshelp@ncsu.edu.

Other devices ITECS supports University requirements for each faculty and staff member to secure up to two personal devices for use with work-related applications and data.  For any personal device you decide to use for accessing University applications or data, send email to eoshelp@ncsu.edu requesting secure setup.

Setting up a new printer Printer setup sometimes involves compliance with network requirements and other environment settings.  Please send email to eoshelp@ncsu.edu requesting setup for a new printer.
