The VCL, or Virtual Computing Lab, is available to NC State students, faculty, and staff. This is a service that allows you to remotely use a computer- NC State provides a remote access service that allows you to reserve a computer with a desired set of applications for yourself and remotely access it over the internet. This is similar to going to a computer lab without physically having to travel anywhere.

Occasionally, Mac users may have trouble starting the VCL. If this is the case, visit the App Store and make sure that you have the latest version of Microsoft Remote Desktop installed.
